All spaces inside our data centers are equipped with the most modern systems and technologies for detecting and suppressing of fires to ensure the isolation and rapid extinction of incidents of fire, with no impact on surrounding areas.

A network of dozens optical smoke detectors provides a fast warning for any fire situations: if the danger is real, at least two sensors give the alarm, gas remission is granted immediately to isolate and neutralize the source of fire.

A combination of nitrogen, argon and carbon dioxide called Inergen has been specifically prepared to provide protection against fire sensitive equipment such as the data centers and computer rooms. This gas is ready for release in the fire zone, where it will act by reducing the oxygen level below 15% (the limit at which the most combustible substances don’t). The special gas protects captive people of low oxygen levels in any area of the affected zone due to its specific composition.

Within the fire suppression systems we use agents that don’t affect the environment and can be used safely in areas with human presence.

In accordance with the rules of the local fire prevention, there are also manual carbon dioxide extinguishers.
